THERE IS DUBBED ONE PIECE IN MY HOUSE.

Make it go away! I'll do anything! I don't like dubbed anime to start with, and this is canon rape! I'd hidden from it until now, but this...this is worse than my most horrific nightmares.

I just saw the editing firsthand. It's the episode where Luffy explains how he got his hat, so I just watched the scene where Lucky Roux blows that mountain bandit's brains out all over the street.

At least it hurt Tiff as badly as I hurt me. She wanted to watch it as a test of personal strength. She barely made it through one episode, and had to watch the OP movie shorts to recover.

Vulnerability to dubbed anime is part of my character class--Chibis have a -4 to saving throws against bad dubbing. [/geekery]

But seriously, as bad as I'd heard it was, and as bad as the nibbles I'd heard were, seeing the actual, honest to gods cartoon--it doesn't deserve the title of "anime" after what 4Kids did to it--was infinitely worse.

...But the One Piece dub is a SHIT cartoon. :D

For me, cartoons are for children. Anime is for grownups. Wouldn't want to show any one under the age of sixteen or so Ninja Scroll, after all.

Well, when I say "cartoons" I mean "animation". :P And it's all animation, whatever way ya look at it. You don't seem like the type, but it irks me when people get all snobby like "It's not cartoons, it's the great and honorable ANIME-SAMA! *turn up nose, walk off in a huff*" over it.

...Yanno, the word "anime" is a borrowed word in Japanese, anyway. :D *runs away from her own irrelevance*
