This morning: Put on New Jeans of Awesome+2. Still awesome. WIN.
This afternoon: In my infinite grace, tripped and pavement-faceplanted while running to my car after work. In my defense, there are sections of the Martian landscape warmer, leveler, and more hospitable than our parking lot. NOT COOL.
This evening: Get home, realize that New Jeans of Awesome+2 are now New Jeans of Bloodstained Ripped-Out Knees-2, and there is denim ground into my skin. DAMMIT.
I'm just going to give up on pants entirely for now, and lie here and bleed for a little while. *spasmodic twitch*
ETA: Evening almost immediately improved by art of the Good Doctor Maturin cuddling Chopper.
