From a lady-who-likes-mecha-anime-and-rampant-fanservice point of view, I'd say it is. It's very much a show aimed at men, but Yoko kicks all manner of ass, despite her boobies bouncing all over the screen, and continues to kick it throughout the course of the series. The Black sisters are likewise various degrees of awesome, Ginny is badass, and Leyte is incredible.
Feminism warning #1: There is a hot springs episode. It runs along standard hot spring episode lines, i.e. one man's neverending quest to see the women's side of the baths. If you survived Nami's Happiness Punch, you should be fine.
Feminism warning #2: Adiane and her Talking Vagina Robot will either hurt your soul or amuse the shit out of you.
Feminism warning #3: You are going to have Issues with Nia. She's a sheltered, naive princess who exists largely to be a glorified mascot and to give the main character something to rescue. She also shoves the Mary Sue Meter off the scale. She's kind of a adorable anyway, but from a feminist point of view she is all that is wrong and evil with the world. You are doing yourself a grave disservice if you watch the first half of the show and not the second, though, so if you don't think you can possibly stand her, skip it.
Queer advisory: Despite his initial appearance, Leeron is a-fucking-MAZING. Don't give up on him just because he's campy as hell. He is, in fact, made of solid win.
