So, today (6/6/06), I went to go see the remake of the The Omen (just like what seemed to be about half the adult population of my town).
I went to the 6:50 pm showing, after buying my ticket from ticket station #006. And my ticket cost...
$8.00 with student discount. Expensive-ass motherfuckers, raising ticket prices again.
( Spoilers yey. )
Experience-wise, it was less crowded then when I went to go see Fellowship of the Rings on opening weekend, but still pretty packed. The audience was suprisingly well-behaved for this area. The only major interruption was when some dumbass bitch showed up half an hour late and started yelling "Yo WALLIIIIIIIIIE!" to try and find her friends, and the audience responded with a near-unianimous "SHUT UP."
Also, got to meet a Dollfie girl who had brought her doll to see the movie. This was the first time I'd ever gotten to hold one, as they're usually covered in "DO NOT TOUCH OMG!" signs at cons.
